I was born in Mexico and raised in the States, primarily in South Los Angeles. Art and technology have been in my life from an early age. I went to a k-8 visual and performing arts school and to a math, science and technology high. While my friends were busy applying to colleges in 11th grade I decided to enlist in the Marine Corps for five years to earn money for college and serve my country.

I went back to school after my enlistment was up and decided to major in a career that married my two passions, art and tech perfectly. I choose graphic design as my major. I attended community college then transferred to and graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

I apply a lot of what I learned in the Military to my work. I work well with others, I pay attention to detail, do things by the numbers and I keep moving forward until I accomplish my goals. I excel in branding, packaging and the design process. My process consists of simple hand drawn thumbnails, digital roughs, revisions and finalization.

On my spare time I like to go on the occasional hike and dabble in creative video games such as Minecraft, The Sims, and StarCraft.
