This includes everything from inspiration, competition, demographics, mental madness (brainstorming), moodboards, sizing, and typography and color selection.

This is what I call brainstorming. I jot down quick ideas associated with words, imagery, colors, type, emotions, animals, demographics etc.

I like to create simple sketches of element placement as well as various iterations of a particular project.

After I finish several thumbnails I pick my top three and either do detailed thumbnails and/or begin digitizing.

Close to the final, this is where I will make any alterations. Polishing the roughs.
